Summer Reading

Summer Reading will run May 11-July 13

Yum, yum, good.. our “Reading is So Delicious” 2020 Summer Reading Challenge is loaded with virtual activities, reading, crafts, and storytime with Wood River Public Library. It’s tasty fun for the whole family!

Reading Goals

PreK (2-4yr) are challenged to read a book a day for a total of 60 books. Other badges can be earned doing a variety of activities.
Kindergarten-5th Grade are challenged to read 8 books and complete several activities.
Young Adults (6th-12th grade) are required to read 5 books, write 1 review, and complete activities.
Adults (18 and older) must read 5 books, review 1 book, and complete activities.

Each age group has prizes to earn. Every PreK participant who completes the challenge earns a prize. K-5th, Young Adults, and Adults each have three prizes that will be raffled off. The more badges you earn the more chances you have of winning a prize. All finishers will be entered to win the grand prize a Kindle Fire and are invited to our Finale Pool Party at the Roxana Pool.
