New In 2019!

Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code Clubs are meant for girls to join our sisterhood of supportive peers and role models, and use Computer Science to change the world.

One group is for girls 6th- 12th Grade and will meet on Saturdays at 11am-12pm Starting March 16th. This is a 10-week class where girls will learn how to code and problem solve!

Young Adult

Each month 6th-12th graders meet and do a variety of things: crafts, games, movies and more. This program meets the second Thursday of every month from 6:00-7:00. This event is free and registration is not required. For more information please call the library at 254-4832 or email Holly


The Wood River Public Library provides an opportunity for high school students to gain volunteer hours for graduation, for those looking for first-time work experience, or those interested in giving back to their community. Residency requirements do not apply.
